Dress: Emerson Thorpe | Veil: Party City | Jacket: Aqua, similar | Shoes: Valentino
It's that time of year again where anything goes. It's Halloween 2014! You either love it or hate it, but you might as well embrace it. It's not fun being the girl who is "too cool to dress up". I've always been a huge fan of Halloween, since I was a little girl dressed up as a Disney princess running from house to house. This year I felt it was only appropriate to be a bride, being that I recently got engaged and am getting married around this time next year. This white lace dress is special and sexy and makes me feel like the bride to be. To add a little bad girl to my look, I layered on my white leather jacket. It's Halloween, so why not! Wearing a veil definitely makes the reality of getting married real and I couldn't be more excited to marry the love of my life. You can be sure though that my veil will definitely be more elaborate than a Party City original. When designing the perfect costume, I love playing around with pieces in my closet that I wouldn't typically pair together.  If you are attending a big Halloween soiree and you still don't have the perfect costume to turn heads, don't panic. Search through your closet for some inspiration and transform your latest fashion splurge into the new hottest costume that everyone will talk about! For that extra pizzazz just hit up your local party city for statement accessories and pile on some makeup and you're ready to party. I'm off to celebrate Halloween in what was named one of the "top 5 spooky cities that go all out for Halloween". Follow me along @styleontherise on insta to see my spooky adventures in what claims to be the most haunted city in America.
